Shopping

In a month, my classmates and I are (bøjningsform af to be, flertal, nutid) going to graduate high school. After the ceremony, we are having a party.

Today, Saturday, my best friend Amy and I are going shopping to find some (bruges til sætninger, der ikke er spørgende eller nægtende) new dresses for the party.

On the way to the mall she asked, (regelmæssig udsagnsord, datid -ed) if I had (bøjningsform af to have, datid) any idea, about which (henførende stedord, dyr og ting) kind of dress, I was looking for. I said, that I didn't (bøjningsform af to do, nægtende datid) know (uregelm. udsagnsord, nutid).

It was a warm day with sun and some clouds now and then. Just a typical day in May.

We saw four other girls on our way, probably also heating to the mall. It was good to know, that we weren't the only one, who were a little bit late with the shopping thing.

At first we went into Vero Moda. It is Amy's ('s ejefald, personer og kæledyr) favorite shop, but I always think it's so crowded.

I didn't find anything for myself (tilbagevisende stedord, ental), but luckily for Amy she found the cutest (tillægsord, 3. grad) blue dress. It reached her knees, with small sleeves and a plaited belt. This (påpegende stedord, ental) is the one, she told me.

After we had been in four other shops without finding anything to me, I almost gave up. All the dresses that I had tried on, either wasn't in my size, wasn't my style or wasn't festive enough. Amy had already found her accessories, and she only needed the shoes.

We decided to grab a little snack, but on our way to the store, I saw the dress in a window of an Only shop. It was a long, dark-green dress with a heart-shape on the top and without hangers. The lower part was made of wavy fabric, and in the brim there was a brown sparkling ribbon.

I walked into the shop, found my size and tried it on. It was amazing!

As a bonus, there also belonged some shoes and jewelries, that fitted to it. I bought it straight away, and walked out of the shop with a voice in my head which said, that I definitely was going to be the hottest and most beautiful girl of all. I smiled.
