1. Alma is a member of an anti-gun organisation called The Coalition to Stop Gun Violence that lobbies for more effective gun control.
2. She thinks that gun-shops don’t care about who is buying a gun, and even children can get one
3. Alma didn’t care much about getting shot by a gun, in till her sister was killed in a gang fight.
4. Alma moved to Massachusetts to get away from the bad influence Alabama had on her.
5. She thinks that many Americans – including her sister – would still be alive.
6. Alma would vote for a man called John Kerry, who believed in stronger gun-control and tighter gun laws.
7. John Kerry promoted himself as a hunter and gun enthusiast.
8. She was told that the anti-gun message was the reason that the Democrats lost seats and control in the Congress 2002
9. The New Jersey’s state passed an Act that does so all new handguns has a mechanism so it only can be fired by the owner.
10. Alma hopes that more people will keep campaigning for more gun-control.

2. She think the gun shops don't concern themselves with who's buying. She also think, it's a bad thing, that children could buy a gun, and others don't care.
3. She wasn't happy, when her sister died because of the gang shootings.
4. Alma moved, so she could get away from all the negative in Alabama. She also had family in Massachusetts.
5. She think, that her sister and many others victims still would be alive, if guns hadn't been so easily to get.
6. Alma voted for the democratic, John Kerry. He wanted to have a more stonger gun control.
7. Kerry said, that he went on hunting, even when he were against guns.
8. She had been told that because of the columbine massacre, people wouldn't vote for John Kerry, because they were scared.
